Residents enjoyed a Christmas Party in December with a live singer and buffet, followed by another party in January to bid farewell to Lisa Bates one of our live- in wardens, who is moving to Spain.

We all enjoyed a lovely celebration for one of our wardens Kath Buckley who has worked for the Society for 50 years, and is still working part-time today. Kath was presented with money for a holiday to Cyprus, Euro’s to spend and the Chairman, Chris Tomkins, baked a cake with Cliff Richard, her favourite singer, on the front.
2023 marked 50 years at Epping Villas following the move from Leyton. Residents, staff and trustees joined guests from the Bakery Forum and Livery Company for an afternoon tea party.

Residents and staff enjoyed the sunshine earlier this year in 2021 when Sue Sapsford, who had worked for the Society, retired after 48 years’ service. Everyone enjoyed an Afternoon Tea and Sue was presented with gifts including, jewelry, flowers, gift vouchers and a shrub rose.
